  Saint Bernard Church has a strong commitment
to quality and excellence in the music at our liturgies. From the presence of music at our daily Masses to the strength of our choral and cantor programs, our goal is to lead and
inspire those who come to the church for corporate prayer and worship. New members are always welcomed into this ministry. If

Adult Choir is comprised of adults (high-school age or older)
who sing each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Mass and on most feast days. The Adult Choir sings from the standard choral repertoire
(a listing of this year's repertoire is contained herein). Members must possess some basic music skills and knowledge, a pleasing
voice and a good sense of humor! Practices are every Thursday, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Cantors are solo singers who sing the psalms and help to lead
our congregational singing for weekend liturgies and many special Masses. Cantors are expected to prepare the music for their assigned liturgies and to meet with the organist one-half
hour before Mass to practice. The ability to read music is highly desirable, as is the ability to sing well under pressure.
The St. Bernard's Children's Choir
is made up of boys and girls in the third through the eighth grade. They are given age-appropriate instruction in music theory, voice-building, and
liturgy. During the choir season the Children's Choir sings for the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass one Sunday each month. Practices for boy and girls are held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons
from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5:45-6:45 p.m. Children may attend either or both practices. Some children elect to have supper together from 5:15-5:45 p.m. for a one-time,
non-refundable $50 fee.
